JoottiIQ Privacy Policy

Overview

JoottiIQ is a private business-intelligence application for the Jootti Outdoor business. This Privacy Policy describes how JoottiIQ handles information used to authenticate authorized users and provide operational, inventory, marketing, and financial insight.

Information JoottiIQ handles

Depending on the features an authorized user chooses to use, JoottiIQ may handle:

• account and authentication information needed to provide private access;
• business data from connected services, including product, inventory, sales, order, accounting, advertising, and related operational information;
• information an authorized user enters in JoottiIQ, such as business goals, planning inputs, or decision notes; and
• connection metadata, audit information, and technical information needed to operate and secure the application.

Connected services and OAuth

Connected services are authorized through the provider's own authorization process. JoottiIQ does not collect a connected provider's password. When a connection is authorized, JoottiIQ uses the data and permissions granted by that provider to operate the related JoottiIQ feature. Provider availability, data practices, and terms remain governed by the applicable provider.

QuickBooks functionality is designed for read-only reporting and analytics. JoottiIQ does not create, edit, or transmit QuickBooks accounting transactions through that integration.

How information is used

JoottiIQ uses information to authenticate authorized users, provide the requested intelligence and reporting features, maintain connected-service functionality, troubleshoot and secure the application, and meet applicable operational or legal obligations. JoottiIQ does not sell personal information.

Security and service providers

JoottiIQ uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed for its private business purpose. OAuth access and refresh credentials are protected in server-side encrypted storage and are not intentionally displayed in the application. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and JoottiIQ cannot guarantee absolute security.

Infrastructure and service providers may process information as needed to host, secure, operate, or support JoottiIQ. Connected providers may separately process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Retention, disconnection, and choices

JoottiIQ retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the application, maintain business records and continuity, resolve issues, and meet applicable obligations. An authorized user may use available disconnection controls or revoke a provider authorization through that provider. Disconnection or revocation may prevent future access to connected data and does not necessarily remove normalized business records already retained for legitimate operational, recordkeeping, or legal purposes.
